With over 20 years of experience as a study investigator, Munro specialises in the design and execution of Phase I-III clinical trials and has been involved in over 50 multi-site studies. Prior to joining AusTrials in 2018, Munro held roles at IQVIA, Petrium and Sonic Clinical Services.
After gaining his MBBS from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London, Munro went on to obtain a MSc in Healthcare Decision-Analysis, and an MBA from London Business School.
His special interests include the conduct of clinical studies in the primary care setting, having spearheaded the development of clinical research at two national networks of primary care centres across Australia.
As a father of two adult children, Munro likes to stay active with yoga, cycling and swimming.
